Miga Bread Line

Designed for the automatic production of Miga Bread or Big Bread for loaves weighing from 8 to 13 kg of dough. It comprises a set of equipment to handle the heavy task of preparing these products.

The dough obtained from the mixer is transported by a conveyor to the hopper of the Divider with a production capacity of 2,400 kg/hour of dough (for example, 16 loaves of 2.5 kg/minute). These loaves are collected by a retractable transfer belt that places them at the entrance of the rounder. At the exit of the rounding process, a sensor detects the loaf weighing between 8 to 13 kg. It loads it onto a resting elevator belt, and after that, it is automatically introduced into the IMEPA Miga Bread Former, which shapes a complete loaf weighing up to 13 kg.

For this, the rounded and rested dough cylinder is deposited on an entry belt, pre-flattened, and guided to the laminating head composed of 4 pairs of rollers, generating a sheet approximately 6 mm thick and extremely long. Then, a clever assembly system delivers the bread in one piece, with the option to cut it into 4 pieces before depositing it in the mold. Only then does an operator place the lid on the mold and transfer it to the fermentation stage.

The operators are located at the ends of the line, handling the mixing and mold sealing, while the rest is automated. All operations, from the dough leaving the mixer to the mold sealing, are completed within 3 to 4 minutes of real-time, making it effective for industrial use.
